Alright, so I am finally a Crossfit work in progress. After my last post I visited a few Seattle area affiliates hoping for a closer, cheaper option but settled with Level 4 as my home "box." I did a free week at "the LAB" and endured an hour long Thanksgiving day WOD. They were really great but I liked the older, more experienced vibe at Crossfit Seattle. I have been getting to class between 3-4 times a week for the past three weeks. I like taking Sean's class best.
Christmas Eve I did my first max dead lift, 79 kg! That is 130% of my body weight. I felt very powerful for the rest of the day. I even called my brother to brag. I can also do two pull ups with just the red band. I am thinking I might have some of the farmer genes from my moms side after all!
The first two week it was like my muscles had just been waiting to spring into action. I feel like my shoulder and arms were almost instantly more defined. Also I love it.
